You’re missing out if you don’t do it

Not only was I paired so well with my employer and roommates, each week was special. From traveling to new place and meeting new people, I learned so much every day. Amanda and Antonella were so encouraging and accommodating. I would do it again if I could!! I now know I want to do fashion marketing because of the clarification from this program. These are memories I will cherish forever. My favorite memory was taking a pasta making class in Florence with my roommates! I learned so much about Italy and the culture.

Pros
  • Resume building

AMAZING

I have learned so much about myself and the world! I am going to be forever greatful for this experience and cannot wait to share it with my friends in family. I will be sharing this experience with people so that they are able to experience something like this. I have found a new city that I have called in love with and am so greatful for that. The people in the city have made it feel like home and now when I come back, I know I am coming back to family. I would not change this for the world I loved it.

My overall experience was so good I enjoyed my time here. I really liked traveling on the weekends all the European countries are east to travel on the weekend. My roommates were great and we all got alone well. I have learned so much about myself and other cultures I would recommend the experience to anyone who is wanting a great adventure. I felt very safe the entire time and everyone was so helpful when I needed some advise or had any problems. I fell in love with Italy and I hope to be back here soon.

Amazing

This was the first time I’ve worked in the fashion industry, and I am so glad I was able to be exposed to something so new, and have a great time while doing so. I was able to learn a lot more about my interests through work, as well as travels with my roommates and the group. My advisors Antonella and Amanda were so accommodating to all of my needs, and I felt extremely supported throughout my whole program. It was great knowing that they were only a text away and ready to help me with anything I needed.

Studying abroad was the best decision i’ve ever made! I met so many amazing people and made so many new friends. I even got to travel around Europe and go places like switzerland and paris! The advisors were extremely helpful to assist with anything you may need. If you’re thinking about studying abroad through global experiences, DO IT! My summer went by so fast! I was nervous and scared coming into the program but by day 1 I was already extremely comfortable with the whole situation! So thankful i made the decision to go to Milan!

My Experience Was Amazing

My experience in Milan was nothing short of phenomenal. The program/trip itself was great but the best part had to be the friends I made. Everyone is so kind, warm, and welcoming. Whether I see them again or not (and I hope I do see at least some of them again) they will always hold a special place in my heart. Additionally, experiencing many different aspects of the culture of Italy was amazing, whether it be eating truly authentic Italian food, learning the language, looking at art, or learning about the history of the country.

Pros
  • I made so many friends.
  • I got to try authentic Italian food.
  • I got to build my resume by gaining hands on intern experience and networking.
Cons
  • No AC in the apartment + High humidity outside = an atrociously stuffy apartment
  • Culture shock
  • One of my roomates did not take responsibility for his messes.

Amazing program!

This was genuinely such an amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They have several steps in place that ensure that you feel and genuinely are prepared for all steps of the internship process, as well as all the shocks you may experience living in a new country. The housing was exceptional, being very close to the main parts of the city and in a safe and clean area. The additional excursions that they plan in your city are also so fun and a great way to experience touristy activities one may not have access to otherwise.

Pros
  • New friends
  • Resume building
  • Experiencing a new culture
